《主慈頌》舞劇圓滿落幕：以藝術走出堂區，見證跨代福傳
The Lord’s Mercy” Concludes with Grace: Faith Beyond the Parish, Generational Evangelization Through Art

天主教信仰不僅停留在堂區內，更要走入社會，觸及不同階層的人。《主慈頌》舞劇正是一個例子：透過藝術、舞蹈、音樂，把信仰帶到更廣闊的群體中。這種「走出堂區」的行動，讓福傳不再局限於禮儀，而是成為生活與文化的一部分。
《主慈頌》於2025年12月25至27日在西灣河文娛中心演出三場，舞劇以天主教靈修精神為核心，透過四季與花卉詮釋人生與信仰的真諦。出生對應春天、成長對應夏天、衰老對應秋天、死亡對應冬天——生命的循環與天主的慈愛在舞台上展現。即使在困難與挑戰中，天主的慈愛始終陪伴。《主慈頌》提醒我們：天主未曾應許沒有困難，但祂的愛永遠常在。
這次演出貫徹主耶穌所託付「福傳是眾人之事」的大使命，除了樂舞坊舞蹈學生外，更邀得寶血兒童村、聖瑪加利大堂沐恩聖詠團及天年一族、九龍華仁書院及聖十字架堂耶穌之友聖詠團參與演出，合共超過100位弟兄姊妹參與，年齡橫跨5至82歲，共同見證福傳的跨代傳承。
三晚演出共吸引逾千名觀眾入場，並蒙多位善長慷慨支持，讓約300位來自明愛、仁愛之家、樂義學校、樂群學校、聖安當小學、善牧會瑪利灣中心及香港國際社會服務社欣怡兒童之家的朋友們能免費觀賞，共享福音的喜樂。主辦單位樂舞坊亦特別透過花園道聖若瑟堂及粉嶺聖若瑟堂，邀請堂區內的菲律賓團體觀賞，以致敬她們多年來對香港家庭的重大貢獻。作為本次舞劇的支持機構之一，進德的精神在於透過關懷弱勢群體、服務社會，讓人們在具體的行動中感受到天主的臨在。舞劇邀請弱勢群體參與，正好展現了這種「進德」精神。
今年亦是香港教區成立80週年，象徵著信仰在本地的深厚根基。《主慈頌》不僅是藝術表演，更是對教區歷史的回應：在新時代中，如何以創新方式繼續福傳。透過文化與藝術，教區的使命得以延續，並與社會建立更深的連結。在教區80週年的時刻，我們不僅要走出堂區，把福傳帶入社會，更要以福愛的精神，陪伴人們在人生的春夏秋冬中，體驗天主的臨在與慈愛。

 

The Catholic faith is not meant to remain only within the parish walls—it must reach into society and touch people from all walks of life. This production is one example: through art, dance, and music, faith is brought to a wider audience. Such efforts to “step outside the parish” allow evangelization to become part of daily life and culture, not limited to liturgy alone.
The Lord’s Mercy was performed from December 25 to 27, 2025. Rooted in Catholic spirituality, the drama used the seasons and flowers to express the meaning of life and faith. Birth was portrayed as spring, growth as summer, aging as autumn, and death as winter—showing the cycle of life and God’s enduring love. Even in times of trial, His mercy remains with us. The drama reminds us: God never promised a life without difficulties, but His love is always present.
This production lived out the mission entrusted by Christ—that evangelization belongs to all. Alongside the students from Nor Chinese Dance Studio, participants included members from Precious Blood Children’s Village, St. Margaret’s Church’s Elderly Society and Choir, Wah Yan College (Kowloon), and the Friends of Jesus Choir from Holy Cross Parish. In total, more than 100 brothers and sisters, ranging in age from 5 to 82, joined together to witness the passing on of faith across generations.
Across three evenings, over a thousand people attended. Thanks to the generosity of our donors, about 300 friends from Caritas, Missionaries of Charity, Lok Yi School, Lok Kan School, St. Antonius Primary School, Sisters of the Good Shepherd Marycove Centre, and International Social Service Hong Kong’s Yan Yee Small Group Home were able to enjoy the performance free of charge, sharing in the joy of the Gospel. Nor Chinese Dance Studio also invited Filipino parish groups from St. Joseph’s Church (Garden Road) and St. Joseph’s Church (Fanling), as a tribute to their many years of contribution to families in Hong Kong. As one of the supporting organizations, Jinde’s mission is to “spread the Gospel through love.” By caring for the vulnerable and serving society, people can experience God’s presence in concrete ways. Including marginalized groups in this drama was a living witness of that spirit of Jinde.

This year also marks the 80th anniversary of the Diocese of Hong Kong, a sign of the deep roots of faith in our city. The Lord’s Mercy was not only an artistic performance, but also a response to the history of the Diocese: how to continue evangelization in new and creative ways. Through culture and art, the mission of the Church is carried forward and connected more deeply with society. At this milestone of 80 years, we are called not only to step outside the parish and bring faith into society, but also to live the spirit of love—walking with people through the spring, summer, autumn, and winter of life, helping them experience God’s mercy and presence.
